Siberian Jade "Goldenrod" Earrings Set in Sterling Silver (4 1/4 Inches Long)

$345.00
Big Sur Jade "Goldenrod" Earrings Set in Sterling Silver

(4 1/2 Inches Long from ear wire to the bottom of the jade)

These one-of-a-Kind, dramatic Siberian Jade earrings are set with custom, hand-stamped sterling silver ear wires which are fastened with a tack-welded ring to the jade for extra strength. They are warrantied for durability.

This jade is thin enough to reflect light, and it emits different "moods" given the current lighting. Though these earrings are thin, they are strong as the interlocking fibers create enough strength to support the stone structure. This is why Jade is prized throughout history as a durable, desirable stone.

Siberian Jade is notable for its highly variable "candy" colors and gorgeous rinds, and this highly translucent stone offers the best of these qualities. The "fancy" colors (other than green) are not easy to procure these days, due to competition from other international jade lovers, and sanctions from the war. The scarcity drives the price up, but, in the end, Siberian Jade is so beautiful, this may be overlooked by avid collectors.

Artisan, Sherry Brajcich acquired the original stone from a Siberian Supplier; cut and polished the jades for these earrings; and hand-wrought the sterling silver fob using original Native American stamps. They are called "Goldenrod" because the quality of these earrings glows.

These earrings were featured in Booth 20 at the 2024 Monterey Bay Jade Festival, and are now available to you online. If you have any questions, please feel free to send a message, or ask for additional photos/video.
